Foreword is a dynamic metalcore band hailing from San Antonio, Texas, known for their distinctive blend of heavy riffs, ambient synth textures, melodic elements, and hints of electronic genres. Formed in 2016, Foreword consists of lifelong friends Andy Alderson (vocals), Chris Se Cret (guitar), Manny G (bass), Marco Gomez (guitar), and Richie Castillon (drums).

The band made their initial mark with their EP "Prologues and Preambles" which served as a bold introduction to their unique musical style. Foreword's music is a testament to personal struggles and broader themes that resonate with their audience.

Initially emerging during the era of San Antonio's iconic White Rabbit venue, Foreword went on a hiatus shortly thereafter. However, in 2019, the band regrouped with Richie Castillon joining as their new drummer. Foreword marked their comeback with the powerful single "Going Under," signaling their return and a renewed commitment to evolving their sound.

Following up with singles like "Sandman" and "Glass Castles," Foreword has steadily gained momentum, setting the stage for their highly anticipated debut album, "Anthologies." Set to release soon, Anthologies promises to showcase Foreword's growth and cement their place in the metalcore scene.
